And they’ve had plenty of time to practice –

they’ve been looking after guests since the 16th Century.

What to do:

 Go for a walk. The Cotswold Way is 102 miles

meandering from Chipping Camden all the way to Bath .

 …although it goes through so many lovely Cotswolds towns and villages

my rucksack would be full of shopping in no time.

If you get as far as Chipping Sodbury you can sing the famous John Cale song.

Or have a Rapunzel moment at Broadway Tower

you can walk from the hotel.

If you prefer four legs to two:

go for a hack at Woodland Riding Stables at nearby Woodstanley

Emma and her team will take you out for an exhilarating ride across her sheep farm.

This has stunning views over the countryside to the Malvern Hills and Black Mountains.
