Dust off your sewing machine and sharpen your scissors our first Alice & Co PATTERNS are ready to download.! A partnership with my daughter Lilia who is a costume mounter at the V&A museum.
Our airy Komodo Triangle dress can be made in a jiffy perfect for the current hot weather.
Still on a hot theme, if you’re a fan of Frida Kahlo and her exotic Mexican style you can make yourself a ‘huipil’ – the top she loved to wear. We’ve made a free pattern for the V&A’s current Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up exhibition . To download click here
Lilia has made hers’ dress length and decorated it with some vintage super jumbo ric rac. Rachel – who was lucky enough to go to Mexico and oversee the packaging of Fridas’ precious collection has used some satin ribbons she bought while she was there.
